Flooded Offices in Pflugerville, TX
This flooded hallway was only one of many rooms affected by a broken pipe. Notice the standing water on the concrete floor, and the water seeping through the walls. The water was only a quarter inch deep at most, however that is plenty to cause substantial damage to building materials. In order to dry the structure we had to remove a small amount of Sheetrock in order to allow for proper air flow into the wall cavity, notice the small section in the after picture. Vent holes such as these allow for the warm dry air from our dehumidifiers to enter the wall cavity and provide a drying environment on both sides of the sheetrock. This allows us to dry materials much more efficiently.
